Man dead, woman hospitalized after domestic murder-suicide attempt in southwest Miami-Dade, deputies say

Miami-Dade deputies are investigating a shooting in a southwest Miami-Dade neighborhood that left a man dead and a woman critically injured on Thursday morning. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, the call came in about the shooting at approximately 11:03 a.m. near Southwest 154th Avenue and 148th Street, near Miami Executive Airport.Detective Daniel Castillo, the Sheriff's Office public information officer, said that upon deputies arriving, they discovered a man and a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. On Friday, MDSO identified the deceased man as 53-year-old Ivan Granado.
